Russian Street in Canada calls for bringing together the entire Russian-speaking population of Canada.
The project was created at the beginning of 2010 as the Russian-speaking community of Regina, Saskatchewan. The project was a success for the first few years, after which people left, switched to Facebook, etc. There are many Russian-speaking communities on the Internet, divided into specific cities, but today this is not enough.
For a long time we dreamed of creating a project that could unite the population of an entire country, but we did not get our hands on it. Russian Street in Regina stood abandoned for about 6 years.
At the end, in the courtyard of 2021, we decided that we needed to do something, we want to create a community where we can be ourselves, without politics and without total control. We created "Russian Street in Canada", the first global community dedicated to bringing together the entire Russian-speaking population of Canada, yes, the whole country.
Don't forget, in Canada, all immigrants. We are all Ukrainians, Russians, Israelis, Kazakhs, Belarusians, Georgians, Uzbeks, Koreans, Azerbaijanis, etc. And we are all united by the fact that we all speak Russian.
We will be watching the project for the next several years, developing and improving as popularity grows.
Enjoy your time on Russian Street.
